1. Who we are

RevisionEasy ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Noah James as a sole trader, trading as RevisionEasy. By using our website and service (the "Service") you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

RevisionEasy provides A-Level revision tools including AI-generated notes, flashcards, practice questions, mock papers, leaderboards and live 1v1 duels. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will always be accurate. You should verify important facts against your official specification or textbooks.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age to enter a contract in your jurisdiction, or have parental consent.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or to spam others;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property rights;
• attempt to interfere with the Service's security, probe it for vulnerabilities, distribute malware, or scrape it;
• reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service;
• use AI features to generate illegal content, hate speech, harassment, deepfakes, malware, or to attempt to bypass safety filters;
• submit content you do not have the rights to use.

You are responsible for your prompts and how you use AI outputs. We may remove content, restrict outputs, or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

5. AI-generated content

AI-generated notes, marking and feedback may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are study aids and are not a substitute for your teacher, your specification, or professional advice. Do not rely on them for regulated or professional decisions.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, including its software, branding and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have purchased. Content you submit remains yours; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

7. Payment, subscriptions and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Please also see our Refund Policy. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account Settings.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. You may export or request deletion of your data within a reasonable period.

9. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability to you is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence where law forbids such exclusion.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
